With only a few days left for Bollywood buffs to witness the cinematic extravaganza Thugs of Hindostan, starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif, the makers have released the teaser of a new song from the film. The teaser of “Suraiyya”, featuring Katrina in her glamorous avatar and Aamir aka Firangi dressed as a British captain, is out. The full song will be released only with the release of the film.

“Suraiyya”, an Ajay-Atul composition with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya, is a peppy, humorous song which hints at Aamir and Katrina’s fun chemistry. Earlier, the duo spelt charm in Dhoom 3 chartbuster “Malang”. There too the audience was left in awe of the sizzling chemistry between the two.

“Suraiyya” has been crooned by Shreya Ghoshal and Vishal Dadlani. Renowned choreographer Prabhudheva has combined old Indian dance forms with intricate contemporary moves in the song. Katrina, with her perfect moves in the song, has managed to retain her crown of undisputed queen of dance numbers in Bollywood.

Talking about the song, Thugs of Hindostan director Vijay Krishna Acharya said, “Suraiyya is a song that gives a sneak peek into the flirtatious relationship between Firangi and Suraiyya. While she is Hindostan’s most famous performer, Firangi is an equally cunning man whom Suraiyya doesn’t trust at all. They have a fun chemistry, they are an odd pair and they are both Thugs in their own right. Prabhudheva has done a sensational job in creating steps that only Katrina Kaif could pull off. I’m sure audiences will love it.”

Until now, many behind-the-scenes videos and the song Vashmalle have been released. The audience is excited to watch Aamir and Amitabh sharing the screen for the first time ever. Thugs of Hindostan is set to release on November 8 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
