Taapsee Pannu, while answering a fan’s question on Instagram, playfully said, “So when am I getting married? I am not pregnant, as yet. So not anytime soon. I will let you all know,” but it looks like the Thappad actress is finally ready to walk down the aisle. As per reports, Taapsee is all set to tie the knot with long-time beau Mathias Boe in a low-key ceremony.
According to NDTV, actress the Pink actress is set to marry her longtime partner, badminton player Mathias, in March. The intimate ceremony will take place in Udaipur and reportedly involve only close family, excluding major Bollywood celebrities. The wedding will blend Sikh and Christian rituals, reflecting the couple’s diverse backgrounds. For the unversed, Mathias, 43, is a Danish badminton player, who debuted internationally in 1998. He is a former Olympic medallist and world no 1.
Together for over a decade, Taapsee and Mathias have maintained a private life while beautifully acknowledging their relationship. In a recent podcast with Raj Shamani, Taapsee discussed her personal journey and long-term relationship with Mathias. She said she has been committed to him for a decade, since meeting him during her Bollywood debut (Chashme Baddoor). Taapsee is yet to comment on this and didn’t reply to indianexpress.com.
Mathias shared an adorable post on Taapsee’s birthday:
Expressing her contentment with her relationship, she expressed, “I am the same person (Mathias) since the past 10 years. I started acting 13 years back and I met him the year I was making my debut in Bollywood, and I have been with the same person since then. I have no thoughts of leaving him or being with anyone else because I am way too happy in the relationship.”
Mathias won the gold medal at the 2015 European Games and the silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He was also a two-time European champion, winning in 2012 and 2017.
