Sitaare Zameen Par's new song 'Good For Nothing' has been released, It is a revamped version of Aamir Khan's 1988 film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak's song Papa Kehte Hain.

Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par, a spiritual sequel of his 2007 hit film Taare Zameen Par, is set for its theatrical release on June 20. The makers have officially released the first song, ‘Good For Nothing’, of the highly-anticipated film. With Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy’s composition and Shankar Mahadevan-Amitabh Bhattacharya’s vocals, the new track has been written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, with Neil Mukherjee on guitar and Sheldon D’Silva on bass.
The music video of Good For Nothing features Aamir Khan as Coach Gulshan, who is training the kids with special needs rigorously at the basketball court. In the clip, the actor can be seen teaching them how to play with a sense of positivity, defiance, and hard work. It is a peppy and fun number, which has already created a buzz on the internet.
Aamir Khan Production’s Instagram handle shared the upbeat track and wrote, “Only legends would know that this song is gooood for everything. Check out #GoodForNothing, song out now. #SitaareZameenPar #SabkaApnaApnaNormal, 20th June Only In Theatres.”

Many fans reacted to the song in the comments section. “Perfect for my birthday! great song,” a user wrote. Another fan commented, “Cute song, eagerly waiting for 20th June.” A person wrote, “Fantastic song loved it im super excited sitaare zameen par movie.” Sitaare Zameen Par is directed by R. S. Prasanna and produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. Besides Aamir Khan, the film also features Genelia Deshmukh in a pivotal role. It is a remake of the 2018 Spanish film Campeones.
Apart from Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan has also joined hands with director Rajkumar Hirani for a Dadasaheb Phalke’s biopic, marking their reunion after 11 years, 3 Idiots (2009) and PK (2014). The film will reportedly hit the theatres in 2026. They are set to start shooting in October 2025 till April 2026.
