Shahid Kapoor admits daughter Misha has ‘full control over him’ while his son Zain ‘tries to dominate’: ‘Mira also comes through Misha’

Shahid Kapoor also revealed how his wife, Mira Rajput, has caught on to this dynamic. “Now, Mira understands this so well that if she wants something done, she comes to me through Misha,” he quipped.

Shahid also reflected on his parenting philosophy, emphasizing the balance between nurturing his kids and acknowledging their individuality. “As a father I am learning and I am trying to be honest. I like to observe, what they want and what is their weaknesses and strength. It’s important to teach them the basics, it’s combination of all that. Let children be. They are born off you, they aren’t yours. They aren’t your property. They are their own individual. You are just the caretaker. You just have to given them what they need.”

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput tied the knot in 2015 and became parents to Misha in 2016. Two years later, in 2018, they welcomed their son Zain.
