It doesn’t take long for friends to turn enemies and enemies to friends in the Indian Film Industry. The latest to join the frenemies’ list is the music composer duo Vishal Dadlani – Shekhar Ravjiani and superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
According to a report published in Mid-Day.com, Vishal – Shekhar, whose music is a regular feature in SRK’s movies, will not compose for his next with director Rohit Shetty. Instead music composer Pritam has been roped in by SRK and Rohit.

“An announcement will be made only when the film rolls next month, but Pritam is definitely scoring the music. Things had gone sour between Vishal-Shekhar and Shah Rukh in the past over certain incidents, which may have led the makers to collaborate with Pritam,” a source told Mid-Day.
Shah Rukh Khan has earlier worked with Rohit Shetty in the movie ‘Chennai Express’, whose music was given by Vishal – Shekhar only. But rumour has it that SRK and Shetty had kept the duo in the dark about the ‘Lungi dance’ number. Vishal and Shekhar had, apparently, not liked Yo Yo Honey Singh being roped in to compose for the number.

Adds the source, “Due to past incidents, it appears that for their next project, they made a conscious decision to work with Pritam.”
