Shah Rukh Khan reveals Salman Khan has already booked Jawan’s first ticket: ‘Bhai, issi liye aapko dikhaya tha’

Shah Rukh Khan responded to Salman Khan's praise for Jawan's prevue. He also revealed that he first showed the video to Salman.

The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan pre-release preview, which dropped on Monday, didn’t just receive praises from fans, many from the film industry also took to social media to hail the film’s first look. After Karan Johar and Sujoy Roy declared it a blockbuster, Salman Khan also took to social media to sing praises for Shah Rukh’s upcoming film. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan star shared the film’s prevue and asked fans to see it in theatres.

Salman made a cameo appearance in SRK’s previous hit film, Pathaan. Referring to Pathaan, Salman wrote, “Pathan jawan ban gaya, outstanding trailer, absolutely loved it. Now this is the kind of a movie we should see in theatres only. I toh for sure seeing it 1st day ko hi. Mazaa ahh gaya wahhhhh.. @iamsrk.”

Responding to Salman’s praise, Shah Rukh wrote, “Pehle Bhai, issi liye aapko hi dikhaya tha!! Thanks for your wishes and booking the first ticket already. Love you.”

 

The prevue gave a glimpse of SRK’s several looks in the film. This is the fist time SRK is seen sporting a bald look in a film. Jawan is directed by Atlee. He is known to helm Tamil hit films, including Theri, Mersal and Bigil. The film stars SRK in a double role. Jawan boasts of a stellar cast led by Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra and Sunil Grover among others.

Backed by Red Chillies Entertainment, the movie has been written and directed by Atlee, with Hindi dialogues penned by Sumit Purohit. It will hit the theatres on September 23.
