Raveena Tandon will be seen as a guest on The Kapil Sharma Show this weekend. In a promo released by the channel on Tuesday, the actor can be heard wondering why she sported a curly hairstyle in Andaz Apna Apna. Raveena will be seen on the show with Guneet Monga and Sudha Murthy.

The promo has Raveena saying, “Why did I have curly hair in Andaz Apna Apna? You think later about these things and wonder if you should have improvised.” Kapil joins in by saying that anyone who looks at older photos questions their fashion choices. Raveena then takes a dig at Kapil and says, “You must wonder the same thing looking at your current photos as well,” leaving everyone in splits.

Andaz Apna Apna is one of the most popular films of Raveena Tandon’s career. Although the film bombed at the box office upon its release in 1994, it gained cult status over the years. The Rajkumar Santoshi film also starred Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor and Paresh Rawal in significant roles.

In a recent chat with Aaj Tak, Santoshi spoke about the film’s failure at the box office and said, “Andaz Apna Apna was a completely different story in those days. It had more comedy, adventure, and humour than romance. People took time to understand this film. When the film was released 29 years ago, the distributors were also newcomers.” He added, “There was no activity related to the film. There was no interaction with the media either. Whatever was to be done for the publicity of the film, that too could not be done. The distributors were also very angry.”
