Ranveer Singh is all set to return to the big screen with an action film directed by Uri: The Surgical Strike filmmaker Aditya Dhar. Ahead of the film’s shoot, the actor dropped a picture of himself, flaunting a bearded-physique, leaving his fans guessing if the transformation is for his upcoming film.
On Thursday, the actor shared a picture of himself on his Instagram Stories. The picture, which seems to have been taken at a gym, shows the actor flaunting his bulked-up physique. Ranveer Singh is known for undergoing physical transformations and taking special training to get into his characters.
The actor, who was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, also starring Alia Bhatt, will share the screen space with industry veterans Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal. Sharing the announcement in July, the actor wrote, “This one is for my fans, who have been so patient with me, and been clamouring for a turn like this. I love you all, and I promise you, this time, a cinematic experience like never before. With your blessings, we embark on this great, big motiin picture adventure with spirited energy and pure intent. This time, it’s personal.”
The untitled film, directed by Aditya Dhar, will be produced by the producers of Article 370–Jio Studios and B62 Studios. The actor had also signed on to star in Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3, but ever since its announcement, there have been no further updates about the film. He will next be seen in Singham Again.
Ranveer Singh recently embraced fatherhood when his wife, Deepika Padukone, welcomed a baby girl in September.
