Ranveer Singh reveals Amitabh Bachchan’s amusing reaction to his ‘pretty costly’ outfit: ‘Son, you look like a plant’

Ranveer Singh, known for his bold and eccentric fashion choices, often becomes the centre of attention for his unique style statements. While his fans admire his fearless approach to fashion, some don’t always approve of his outfits. In a recent interview, Ranveer shared an amusing incident when his outfit choice received an unexpected reaction from Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.

During a recent IIMUN event, Ranveer was asked if he ever regretted wearing any of his outfits after a public appearance. The actor candidly replied, “I have. There was one suit that was pretty costly and we were at a discussion and Amitabh Bachchan was at that event too. I thought I was wearing the best suit of the world and when I asked Big B, ‘Sir, how do I look?’ He said, ‘ Son, you are looking like a plant’.”

Ranveer Singh was promoting his upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani at the event, along with the film’s director Karan Johar and his co-star Alia Bhatt. Ranveer and Alia recently made a striking appearance as showstoppers for celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s grand Bridal Couture show in Mumbai. Manish is also the costume designer of their upcoming film.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani brings Ranveer and Alia together on the big screen once again after the massive success of their 2019 film Gully Boy. The movie also boasts an ensemble cast, including veteran stars such as Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles. It is slated to hit theatres on July 28.
