Radhika Apte reveals pregnancy, debuts baby bump at red carpet premiere of her film Sister Midnight. See pictures

Actor Radhika Apte took her fans by surprise by revealing her pregnancy at the UK Premiere of her film Sister Midnight. The actor, who is mainly based out of the UK, is married to British composer Benedict Taylor. Apte debuted her baby bump at the red carpet at BFI London Film Festival 2024.

The actor took to Instagram and posted pictures from the grand premiere. She was dressed in a black off-shoulder outfit. As soon as she dropped the images, the comments section of her post was flooded with congratulatory messages from her industry colleagues, including Vijay Varma, Guneet Monga and Priyanka Bose. “Apteeeee 🤗🤗❤,” wrote Varma while Guneet dropped hearts.

Apte met Benedict Taylor in 2011, when she had gone to the UK to learn contemporary dance. The actor, who has kept her personal life fiercely guarded, married the musician in 2012. She got her big breakthrough three years later, when she starred in Sriram Raghavan’s Badlapur, headlined by Varun Dhawan. She got further acclaim in projects like Parched, Pad Man, Lust Stories and Andhadhun.

She was last seen on the big screen in Hrithik Roshan-starrer Vikram Vedha and starred in two streaming projects — Vasan Bala’s Monica, O My Darling and ZEE5’s Mrs Undercover.

Directed by Karan Kandhari, Sister Midnight has been described as a “genre-bending comedy” about a “frustrated and misanthropic newlywed who discovers certain feral impulses that land her in unlikely situations.”
