Actor Piyush Mishra has been in a part of the film industry for many decades now and has collected many interesting anecdots along the way. Piyush recently shared one such anecdote from the time when he attended a party at Amitabh Bachchan’s house but left hurriedly in an auto rickshaw.

In an interview with The Lallantop, the prolific actor was asked to elaborate on that incident. “Ek hi baar gaya tha yaar, main talli ho gaya tha. Bachchan sahab mere paas aa gaye, mujhse baat karne lage ki bhai kaise ho. Maine kaha ki theek hai sir sab badiya baat hai, main jhel nahi pa raha. Maine kaha bohot ho chuka, main itni pee chuka hun, ab main kya baat karu (I had gone there once and Bachchan saab came to me and asked me how I was. I said I am fine but I am unable to tolerate it and that I have been drinking a lot),” he said.

The actor-poet further shared, “Toh main jaldi se gaya and maine 3-4 moti moti lagayi, maine kaha ab baat karo kisi bhi cheez pe baat karo (I quickly went and had 3-4 strong pegs and then I said that let’s talk about about whatever anyone wants to talk).” Piyush and Amitabh have shared screen space in Pink. “Jaya ji ghoor rahi thi mujhe, ye kaun badtameez aa gaya,” he added.

Piyush was credited as a writer in the 2022 film Shamshera, which failed at the box office. In an interview with Hindustan Times, he said, “I also didn’t understand why it didn’t work. People said it didn’t work due to the script. I think we have already seen fantastic stunts so many times. Now you will have to compete with them, the revolution in South. Baahubali was not merely CGI, it also had a very solid script. To compete with a Baahubali, you will have to write an equally brilliant script. Pushpa also had a very good script, it wasn’t made just like that. Adding CGI is only beneficial when you have a solid script. CGI without script is of no use.”
