Actor Parineeti Chopra and her husband, AAP MP Raghav Chadha are set to start a new chapter of their lives as they are expecting their first child together. The couple announced the good news on social media, on Monday. Their fans peers from the film industry instantly flooded the comments section to congratulate Raghav and Parineeti.

The parents-to-be took to their Instagram handle and shared a joint post to announce the actor’s pregnancy. The first picture of the post was an adorable round cake with the text “1 + 1 = 3” along with two small golden footprints drawn around it. Along with the photo, they also posted a video of them strolling in a garden holding hands, with plush greenery all around. They captioned the post as, “Our little universe … on its way. Blessed beyond measure.”

Many fans expressed their excitement and dropped congratulatory messages. Sonam Kapoor wrote, “Congratulations darling.” While Bhumi Pednekar and Huma Qureshi simply commented, “Congratulations.” A few months ago, several rumours suggested that Parineeti Chopra is expecting her first child, but now the actor has finally given a confirmation about the same.

Earlier, she had dropped a post about spending quality time with her husband Raghav on Independence Day, and enjoying a healthy meal. “An afternoon at home, drenched in the colours of our country and family love. Happy Independence Day! @raghavchadha88,” she wrote.

On the work front, Parineeti Chopra will next be seen in an untitled Netflix show, also starring Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jennifer Winget, Harleen Sethi, Chaitannya Choudhry, Sumeet Vyas, and Anup Soni in pivotal roles. The shoot for the series has already been wrapped up.

Recently, the couple was also seen on the The Great Indian Kapil Show. Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got married in September 2023, in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur. They got engaged in May, 2023, in New Delhi, with their close friends and family members.
