Malaika Arora admits she and ex-husband Arbaaz Khan aren’t always on the same page, but is ‘proud’ that they can co-exist: ‘We’re better humans today’

Asked about bringing up Arhaan with Arbaaz, Malaika said, “Co-parenting is always tough, you’re not always on the same page about a lot of things. Especially when you go your separate ways, there’s always something that doesn’t quite fit into the picture. But thankfully, both Arbaaz and me are better humans today, we’re better people today. We’re proud of the fact that we can co-exist, no love lost, and give our child all the attention that he needs, he deserves.”

She continued, “We’re there for him every step of the way, irrespective of whether his parents are together. But, we are together as a unit. I think that’s what matters.”

Malaika and Arbaaz are often seen coming together to receive Arhaan at the airport, or to see him off. She has spoken about her evolving equation with Arbaaz in the past, as well. In an episode of her reality show Moving in with Malaika, she spoke about what went wrong in their marriage. She said, “I was very young. I also changed. I wanted different things in life. And I think actually today we are better people.”
