Kartik Aaryan denies supporting Congress in viral video, calls the morphed clip ‘misleading, mischievous’
A fake video of Kartik Aaryan has gone viral, where he is seen supporting Congress candidate Kamal Nath.

Actor Kartik Aarya via his team has called out the morphed video of him supporting Congress candidate Kamal Nath in the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. The video is originally that of a digital platform and images of the politician have been superimposed on the OTT platform’s visuals. Kartik has clarified that he has no affiliations with any political group.
The fake video shows a billboard, which originally has Disney Plus Hotstar’s visuals on it. However, the morphed video shows the political figure’s images superimposed on the billboard. Kartik’s dialogues have also been dubbed to promote the political party. A source close to the actor denied the actor’s association with any political party.

A source close to the actor said in a statement, “There is a morphed version of a Kartik Aaryan ad floating on social media that the actor had done for a streaming platform. The video is misleading and mischievous, and is being used to claim political affiliations on behalf of the actor. Kartik has no such affiliations with any political group whatsoever.”
Kartik also tweeted the original add and wrote, “This is the REAL AD @DisneyPlusHS Rest all is Fake.”

A user wrote, “@TheAaryanKartik please check, they have faked your video and are using this as a tool of propaganda”, another one wrote, “It’s edited” while a third one wrote, “This should be reported.”
On the work front, Kartik was last seen on the big screen in Satyaprem Ki Katha. He will next be seen in Chandu Champion directed by Kabir Khan. The actor recently shared a behind-the-scenes story during the shoot on his Instagram account. The scene Kartik referred to in his post was filmed in the picturesque Aru Valley in Jammu and Kashmir, situated 9000 feet above sea level, where the team constructed a massive army camp set.
