Jaya Bachchan to star with Siddhant Chaturvedi, Wamiqa Gabbi in Vikas Bahl’s Dil Ka Darwaaza Khol Na Darling. See photos

After Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, veteran actor Jaya Bachchan is set to return to the big screen in Vikas Bahl’s upcoming family entertainer Dil Ka Darwaaza Khol Na Darling. She will star alongside Gully Boy actor Siddhant Chaturvedi and Jubilee actor Wamiqa Gabbi. The film also features lyricist and actor Swanand Kirkire in a pivotal role. The cast has already begun shooting for the film in Goa.

The makers shared the exciting news of the film’s shooting commencement by posting two vibrant photos from the fun-filled set. In the pictures, the lead actors are joined by the director and producers, all sharing a lighthearted moment. The first photo features Jaya Bachchan at the centre, smiling and singing while holding a microphone. Behind her, Siddhant and Wamiqa strike a pose. Jaya, looking effortlessly chic, wears a white shirt paired with black pants and a black scarf. The photos radiate the team’s joyful energy while shooting for the film.

Dil Ka Darwaaza Khol Na Darling is presented by Tips Films Ltd, Baweja Studios Ltd, and Jumping Tomato Studios, and is a Good Co production. Produced by Ramesh Taurani, Harman Baweja, Rohandeep Singh, Viraj Sawant, and Ramesh Pulapaka, the film is slated for a theatrical release in 2025.

Jaya Bachchan was last seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Siddhant Chaturvedi recently starred in Farhan Akhtar’s Yudhra. Wamiqa Gabbi, who rose to prominence with Vikramaditya Motwane’s web show Jubilee, was last seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Khufiya, where she starred alongside Tabu in the lead role.
