Jaya Bachchan tells photographers ‘don’t shout’ at grandson Agastya’s The Archies premiere; Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya, Abhishek, Aaradhya, Navya pose together

Agastya Nanda is making his debut with The Archies and at the premiere of the film, his grandparents Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan were in attendance to support him.

Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda is making his debut in the movies with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. At the premiere of the film in Mumbai on Tuesday, the entire Bachchan and Nanda family gathered together to support Agastya. Jaya Bachchan got a little upset with the photographers as they asked her to pose. “Don’t shout,” she said but then proceeded to pose with the family.

Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aaradhya Bachchan, Shweta Nanda, Navya Naveli Nanda and other members of the Bachchan-Nanda family posed as a family for Agastya’s big day. Abhishek, Aishwarya and Aaradhya also posed separately with Agastya.

Alongside Agastya, The Archies also marks the debut of Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor. Shah Rukh and the entire Khan family was there to support Suhana, and Janhvi Kapoor was in attendance to support sister Khushi.

Earlier today, Agastya’s mother Shweta shared a photo on Instagram wishing him the best of luck.

Upon the release of the film’s trailer, Amitabh Bachchan cheered for his grandson as he shared on Twitter, “T 4825 – Agastya my love blessings and more .. you carry the torch ably ahead ❤️❤️❤️.”

In his debut film The Archies, Agastya is playing the role of Archie Andrews. In an earlier chat with Bollywood Hungama, Agastya said that Zoya was very patient with the newcomers and shared, “I had to learn how to play the guitar. I had to learn how to sing. Learning to sing and how to play the guitar was a great learning experience.”
