Giorgia Andriani talks about ’emptiness’ after break-up with Arbaaz Khan: ‘Letting go is not easy’
Giorgia Andriani and Arbaaz Khan dated each other for a few years before heading their separate ways. Arbaaz is now married to Sshura Khan.

Giorgia Andriani, who was previously in a relationship with Arbaaz Khan, recently opened up about her break-up with the actor and expressed that letting go of a romantic relationship is always hard. Describing Arbaaz as a “good human being”, Giorgia said that she wishes him well. Arbaaz tied the knot with Sshura Khan in December 2023.
Talking to Zoom, Giorgia said, “Arbaaz is a good human being. Yes, we did part ways and the emptiness of letting go of a partner will always be there. Letting go is not easy, because you’re personally involved with someone in a relationship. But one has to move on when the relationship ends. I wish him well while I move to another chapter in my life.”
Giorgia was asked if she has ever received any advice from a Bollywood star and the actor revealed that Salman suggested something but she did not follow it. “Salman Khan works out four times a day. But his fitness routine is different from mine. So he would not share tips, per se. But he did suggest that let go of my fringes (hairstyle), which I didn’t, because I liked them,” she said.
In an earlier chat with Pinkvilla, Giorgia had said that Arbaaz’s relationship with his ex-wife Malaika Arora did not come in the way of her relationship with him. Arbaaz and Malaika divorced in 2017 after 17 years of marriage. They co-parent their son Arhan Khan. Giorgia said, “I will always have feelings for him. The relationship that he had with Malaika did not really come in the way of my relationship with him. What I am now… to be called somebody’s girlfriend, I definitely find it very demeaning. We both knew it wouldn’t have lasted forever because we were very different.”
In the same conversation, Giorgia shared, “I’m loving my freedom at the moment. In fact, I think that happiness at the end of the day is freedom—the freedom to do whatever you want and go wherever you like. That’s why I’m having a very happy life now because I’m getting to do all this.”
