Dhurandhar: Ranveer Singh's film eyes Rs 400 cr milestone at the box office.Dhurandhar worldwide Box Office Collection: There’s no stopping Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar — after capping off the second weekend at Rs 140+ crore and making a few BO records, the film has now emerged as highest second Monday earner as well. Ranveer Singh-starrer has made an estimated Rs 29 crore, surpassing Pushpa 2 which held the record at Rs 20.5 crore previously. Dhurandhar will cross Rs 400 cr mark today.
The film has earned Rs 351.7 crore net at India box office till the weekend and its gross domestic collection stands at Rs 420 crore. With a massive Rs 144 crore haul coming from its second weekend, which is the highest ever for an Indian film. Dhurandhar also managed to emerge among the top 5 most watched films at the US box office, as per Comscore. It has earned Rs 110 crore worldwide, bringing its gross worldwide collection to Rs 530 crore within 10 days.
Starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun and R Madhavan, Dhurandhar earned Rs 59 crore on second Sunday, Rs 53 crore on second Saturday and Rs 32.5 crore on second Friday, as per Sacnilk. With its Sunday earning, Dhurandhar trumped 10th day box office records of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan (Rs 38 crore) as well as Pushpa 2 (Rs 54 crore), Stree 2 (Rs 40 crore) and Animal (Rs 33 crore). All figures are for Hindi versions. This shows a 60% increase at the beginning of its second weekend.
With the film adding midnight shows on popular demand, it is looking at a strong second Monday as well. The film is likely to cross the Rs 400 crore mark by Tuesday.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar came out in theatres on December 5. It also features Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and Soumya Trivedi. It is jointly produced by Dhar and brother Lokesh Dhar through their banner B62 Studios alongside Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios.
As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Dhurandhar now holds a new record. He shared that the film now has the record of recording the highest collections on a second Monday. Shraddha Kapoor applauded Yami Gautam's stance to call out "negative PR machinery" and added, “From Yami Gautam having to call out the rampant negative PR machinery to manufactured controversies, Dhurandhar endured it all and came out shining. No bad force can pull a good film down. In audiences, we trust."
Shraddha Kapoor called Dhurandhar a "phenomenal experience" on social media as she wrote, "Truly terrible of Aditya Dhar to make a film like Dhurandhar." She then added, "and then make us wait three months for Part 2. Don’t play with our emotions, prepone the release please. What a phenomenal experience. With a massive Monday at the box office, Dhurandhar has now earned Rs 380 crore India net. It is a whisper away from entering Rs 400 crore club, which is likely to happen on Tuesday.
As per Sacnilk, Ranveer Singh film has earned Rs 29.5 crore on Monday, emerging as the highest earner on a second Monday ever, setting a milestone for Indian cinema. The record was earlier held by Pushpa 2 (Rs 20.5 crore).

Author and columnist Shobhaa De took to share a video review of Dhurandhar. In the video, Shobhaa said, "I've come back after watching Dhurandhar, and this is an off-the-cuff review - absolutely without any kind of narrative, script, nothing. Just spontaneous responses to a film. I don't mind watching it all over again. Yes, three and a half hours of it. I didn't want to miss a moment. Honestly, I do not understand what the controversy is about - the right wing and the left wing. Why can't you just watch a movie for what it is, a movie, and remember the effort that goes into making a monumental, epic film of this kind? Forget all that. Forget the politics of it. It's utter nonsense - manipulative and awful. If there are critics who are losing their jobs over this, and if there are people who want to send a death squad to my door, I really don't care. I watched it as a viewer with absolutely zero political bias. It's not about politics. It's about a story - perhaps fictionalised. The person on whose life it is based must have been a super, super, super-duper hero. I will not name the person, but let me tell you just this much - it is brilliant. It is epic."
She went on to praise the cast and director of Dhurandhar. She said, "As Ranveer says - come on, come on - the restraint, how controlled. When he could so easily have strutted, done the whole swag thing, put in a song for himself, done some hook step, romanced the girl. Frankly, I didn't much care for the girl. That's my very personal opinion. She was strategically important, but not really a romantic, romantic interest, Ranveer, I thought, chewed up the entire film. I liked Akshaye a lot. I can't say I went nuts over his performance. He is a superb actor, but because of the overkill - that one song, that one step and all of that - maybe I expected much more than what I actually got. The star of the film - yes, the director, of course, because without his vision, there'd be no film. But also the music, it is nuts and insane...orchestrated, choreographed violence set to Bhangra beats, operatic scores, favourite old qawwalis and love songs - and even Monica, Oh My Darling. Yes, I loved Dhurandhar. Go watch it."

She continued, "Finally, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING against Indian Muslims in the movie. The film is about Pakistan's patronage of terrorism. And we have all lived that as Indians for years on end. Conflating an adversary like Pakistan with India's Muslims is an insult to our own people. Btw I watched the movie with, among others, two Muslim friends who enjoyed it as much as I did. Tiny points - I did not love the love angle in the film -expected it to be strategic, not Ishq- and because of the intercutting of real footage and fiction (very powerful tool btw) some parts of the movie will send you back to your research books to check timelines & details-but its a MOVIE, not a documentary !!!! And as movies go- it is an absolutely compelling, mazedaar and riveting watch - larger than life as movies were once meant to be- Congratulations, many, @AdityaDharFilms and team."

Aditya Dhar's film Dhurandhar has emerged as a global box office juggernaut, raking in Rs 552.70 crore worldwide in just 10 days, the makers told PTI on Monday. Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar's India gross stands at Rs 430.20 crore, while overseas earnings have touched Rs 122.50 crore. In a statement, the makers said the film has enjoyed an “unprecedented, record-shattering run”, noting that “every day has been bigger than the previous from the first Monday onward”.
A report by ANI, shared how Aditya Dhar's film Dhurandhar has registered houseful shows across several centres in Jammu & Kashmir, including smaller towns such as Shopian and Pulwama, where theatrical exhibition has remained limited. Strong audience turnout at these locations indicates renewed demand for cinema-going in the region, underscoring the appetite for big-screen entertainment even in towns without multiplex infrastructure. Commenting on the response, Rahul Nehra, Managing Director of Citara Plex, said, "Our focus has been on building right-sized cinemas for smaller markets. The response to Dhurandhar in towns like Shopian and Pulwama reinforces our belief that audiences will come to theatres when the experience is affordable, accessible and close to home."
After delivering the much-needed big success with Dhurandhar, Ranveer Singh will be next seen in Dhurandhar Part 2, which is already shot and will hit the big screens on March 19, 2026. The buzz around Dhurandhar 2 is also sky high, and the trade have already anticipating it to become one of the biggest blockbusters of 2026. Dhurandhar was originally planned as a one-part film before the makers split it into two parts due to its long runtime.
In an old video of Ranveer Singh from 2022 with Bollywood Hungama, is making the headlines. In the clip Ranveer opened up about the work style in the industry and can be hear saying, "A lot of times people complain… other artists and their management complain ki ‘Yaar tu sabko bigaad raha hai.’ Sab log bolte hain, ‘8 ghanta ki shift mein tu 10-12 ghanta kabhi shooting karta hai. Dhurandhar has entered the Top 5 highest-earning films at the U.S. box office during its second weekend, ranking among major Hollywood releases. While Zootopia 2 reclaimed the No. 1 spot at the U.S. box office with about $26.3 million in its third weekend, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 took the No. 2 position despite a drop in weekend earnings. And Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar ranked No. 4 in its second week across 377 screens. It earned $3.45 million over the three-day weekend.

Aditya Dhar's film has once again managed to pull audience to the cinema halls and how. Even in the 2nd week's Sunday, the film recorded an impressive average occupancy of 76.84%. Morning shows registered 59.57% occupancy, followed by afternoon shows at 87.20%. Evening shows peaked at 89.06%, while night shows stood at 71.53%.
On day 10, Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan had made Rs 38 crore and on its second Sunday, it made Rs 44 crore. On the other hand Ranbir Kapoor's Animal made Rs 33 crore on it's second Sunday. All figures are for Hindi versions and Dhurandhar has surpassed them all.
