Kajol and Ajay Devgn will be lending their support to actress Tanuja’s initiative. Veteran actress and social worker Tanuja who was recently seen in Son of Sardaar is quite busy these days. The graceful thespian represents the Lonavla-Khandala Citizens Forum (LKCF) and has actively participated in the preservation and enhancement of the quality of life and amenities in the twin towns of Lonavala and Khandala.

We all know that Bollywood couple Kajol and Ajay Devgn have been passionately involved in various important core issues such as ‘Save The Girl Child’ and other environmental issues.

She even owns a house in the beautiful locales of Lonavala and we hear that she aims to make the town a clean and green place to live in and to promote the preservation of parks, play grounds and open spaces.

This year on May 11,2013 a fun fair has been organized by LKCF where there will be games, puppet shows, food stalls and other fun activities and people can come and donate for the wellness and prosperity of the town. The money donated will be used towards the prosperity of the region like planting trees, supply of electricity in interior areas, increasing employment opportunities etc.

“I am very excited as it is not just a fair; it is a fun fair where all of us have gathered to support this NGO called LKCF which is working towards the betterment and prosperity of twin city Lonavala & Khandala. I am really looking forward to it and this fair is open for all and the admission is free. My fingers are crossed,” quipped Tanuja.

When asked Kajol about this initiative she said,”Ajay and I believe in the environment. And Lonavala is the perfect place to kickstart this issue. I’ve played there as a kid and the Lonavala that I see today is not necessarily better. We would like to do our bit to protect it and help wherever we can. LKCF is the perfect means to getting that done.”
