Actor Saif Ali Khan and his actor daughter Sara Ali Khan have finally come together on-screen– even if it is for an ad. The father-daughter duo star in a new commercial, where Sara is schooling her father about car insurances. In the commercial, posted by her on Sunday, Sara is seen as a cop while Saif is a prisoner in an interrogation room.
When Saif discusses renewing his car insurance with actor Brijendra Kala in an old-fashioned way, Sara interrupts him, asking if people still buy black and white TV, visit cyber cafes or send money order– signaling that he must adapt to changing times.
“Maine toh dad ko car insurance lene ka naya tarika sikha diya! Coz, you’re never too young to teach your dad something new, hain na 💁🏻♀️,” her caption read.
The commercial made her fans happy, as users commented how good Sara and Saif looked on screen. Jewelry designer and Saif’s sister Saba Pataudi commented “You guys R FAB!❤️😂,” while a fan wrote, “Coolest father daughter duo😂❤️.”
Saif Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan have never shared screen space in films, even as the former acted in Love Aaj Kal 2020, a spiritual successor to Love Aaj Kal starring Saif and Deepika Padukone.
On the work front, Saif was recently seen in the critically panned and box office failure Adipurush, in which he played the role of Lankesh. Sara, meanwhile, had a box office hit with the romantic comedy drama Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, co-starring Vicky Kaushal. She will be next seen in Dharma Productions’ Ae Watan Mere Watan and Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino.
