Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal is all set to release in theatres this Friday and the Sandeep Reddy Vanga has already received its ‘Adults only’ certificate. The film has reportedly received a few modifications from the Central Board of Film Certtification (CBFC). The modifications include changing the “intimate visuals” between characters named Vijay and Zoya, modifying cuss words and modifying the word “Black”, as per the photo of the certificate that is being shared online.

Animal has a runtime of 203 minutes. The other changes mentioned here suggest that the word ‘vastra’ has been replaced with ‘costume’. Two undisclosed dialogues have been changed to “Kabhi nahin” and “Kya bol rahe ho aap”. In one place, the word “natak” has been muted, and the subtitles have been changed to “You change pads four times a month”.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, in a recent interview with The Hindu, said that the first cut on Animal was alsmost close to 4 hours. “The first cut of Animal was 3 hours 45 or 46 minutes. I chopped till 3:21. I have seen the film multiple times and it is an engaging film. Ranbir is a great performer and will not let the audience relax for a second,” he said.

Vanga has been very appreciative of Ranbir Kapoor’s performance in the film and at the pre-release event in Hyderabad, he said. “Ranbir might be younger to me but when I see him performing, I feel like touching his feet and taking his blessings. I haven’t seen anyone with so much patience.”

Animal also stars Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, among others. The film is releasing alongside Vicky Kaushal-starrer Sam Bahadur.
