Bobby Deol, who made a strong comeback with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal and later grabbed headlines for his role in Aryan Khan’s debut show The Ba**rds of Bollywood, recently opened up about his sons Aryaman Deol and Dharam Deol. The actor shared that while his younger son wasn’t particularly interested in studies, his elder son graduated from a prestigious college in New York. Speaking to Radio Nasha, Bobby said, “I wanted my sons to study, my younger son left studies after 12th standard, but my elder son was selected in all the colleges that he applied to. And he got into NYU Stern School of Business. I didn’t know about the college but when I used to tell people that my son studies in that college, people would tell me, 'Wow, it’s a great college.' I was like okay. I didn’t know that.” In an earlier interaction, Bobby revealed that though his elder son Aryaman is receiving offers from the Hindi film industry, he is in no hurry to launch him. In an interview with Times Now, Bobby shared that Aryaman is currently focusing on learning the craft before stepping into the limelight. “He is working, he is training. There are a lot of offers coming in, but I don’t want to throw him into the middle of the ocean without knowing how to swim,” Bobby said. He added, “I want him to first understand the art and then take his first step. So, he is working on himself.” While Bobby has admitted in interviews that both his sons are keen on entering the film industry, he also acknowledged the immense pressure that star kids face. He reflected on how much scrutiny Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has endured while launching his directorial debut. “I know how difficult it is, even being from the industry, to be superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son—the kind of pressure he has. If he is trying to do something as challenging as directing, then I have to be there for him," he said. On the work front, Bobby Deol has several projects lined up, including Bandar, Alia Bhatt-starrer Alpha, and the Tamil film Jana Nayagan.
