Bhool Chuk Maaf box office collection day 2: Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’ family entertainer Bhool Chuk Maaf opened on Friday, with a collection of Rs 7.2 crore. The film saw a slight growth on its first Saturday, as it collected Rs 9 crore, according to trade tracker Sacnilk. The movie’s total India net collection has reached Rs 16 crore.

On Saturday, Bhool Chuk Maaf recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 25.18%, with morning shows at 10.46%, afternoon at 27.27%, evening at 29.11%, and night shows peaking at 33.87%. Chennai registered the highest occupancy at 85%.

The movie clashed at the box office with Suniel Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi-starrer Kesari Veer. However, that film collected only Rs 25 lakh on its first day and Rs 26 lakh on the second day. They also faced tough competition from Hollywood releases – Final Destination Bloodlines and Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning, which have minted more money at the box office than several Bollywood films this year.

While Bhool Chuk Maaf has outperformed Rajkummar Rao’s recent releases—Srikanth, Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, and Mr. & Mrs. Mahi—it still lags behind several 2025 releases, including Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh and Sunny Deol’s Jaat.

Helmed by Karan Sharma, Bhool Chuk Maaf also stars Sanjay Mishra, Zakir Hussain, Anubha Fatehpuria, Raghubir Yadav, and Seema Pahwa. It will premiere on on Amazon Prime Video after a two-week window of its theatrical release. An excerpt from SCREEN’s review of the film read, “For a long time, Bhool Chuk Maaf looks and feels like the poor man’s Brahmastra (remember that one?). A couple prancing up and down Varanasi’s ghats and gullies, surrounded by gais, gendas, gurus and the Ganga, and few raised eyebrows. Ultimately, Bhool Chuk Maaf may end up being remembered for all that happened off screen – the confusion between its theatrical and OTT release, and a ‘compromise’ (which has worried many in the industry) that means that within two weeks, it will be showing on a TV near you.”
