Baby John Box Office Collection Day 6: The Atlee-produced Baby John, starring Varun Dhawan, Wamiqa Gabbi, Keerthy Suresh, and Jackie Shroff in important roles, has been critically panned. In addition to the poor reception, the film had to deal with Pushpa 2 ‘s ongoing reign. Despite debuting during an extended weekend and a festival, the Varun Dhawan-starrer has been dead on arrival since day one. Baby John saw a dip in earnings on its first Monday, collecting just Rs 1.8 crore. As of day six, the film’s domestic collection stands at Rs 30.50 crore, according to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk.

Baby John’s India net collection stands at Rs 30.50 crores, and its gross collection amounts to Rs 34.4 crore. Overseas, Baby John has collected Rs 8.6 crore, and its worldwide collection stands at Rs 43 crore after day six. While the film is crawling towards the 5o crore mark, trade predictions suggest that the Varun Dhawan film will retire with a lifetime box office collection of Rs 60 crore, or slightly more.
As per reports, Baby John has been made on a budget of Rs 160 crore. On Monday, Baby John’s overall occupancy was 10.77 percent with night shows seeing a decent turnout. With 55 shows Chennai had the highest occupancy of 16.75 percent, followed by Pune where the occupancy was 16.25 percent with 146 shows. The number of shows in Mumbai and Delhi has also significantly dropped. In Mumbai, Baby John’s occupancy was 15.75 percent with 419 shows, and in Delhi, NCR with 671 shows the occupancy was 8.25 percent.

It will be interesting to see if New Year’s Eve accelerates Baby John’s trajectory at the box office. Baby John is directed by Kalees and produced by A for Apple Productions, Cine1 Studios, and Jio Studios.
