Baaghi 4 Box Office Collection Day 2: Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4, the fourth installment in the popular Baaghi franchise, opened with high expectations. While the previous films in the series enjoyed success at the box office, the latest Tiger Shroff-starrer seems to be struggling to draw audiences to theatres. Directed by A Harsha, the film witnessed a sharp decline of around 25% in collections on Day 2.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 12 crore on its opening day but managed to collect only Rs 9 crore on Day 2. With this, the total box office collection of the film now stands at Rs 21 crore.

Baaghi 4 recorded an overall 23.79% Hindi occupancy on Saturday, with morning shows at 9.64%, afternoon shows at 20.97%, evening shows at 25.63%, and night shows peaking at 38.92%.

Baaghi 4 is facing tough competition from the Hollywood film The Conjuring: Last Rites, which released on September 5. While the last installment in The Conjuring franchise earned Rs 17.5 crore at the domestic box office on Day 1, it managed to maintain the same collection on Day 2 as well. This brings the film’s total earnings to Rs 35 crore.

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta took to X to express his disappointment, noting how an English horror film is now outperforming a mainstream Hindi action movie. He wrote, “Me in my 20’s/30’s could never imagine an English film outperforming a Hindi film. Today’s reality – An English horror film does double the business of a main stream Hindi action film. What changed???”

The Indian Express’ film critic Shalini Langer gave Baaghi 4 just one star and wrote in her review, “One star to the Tiger Shroff film for surprising us every time we think Ronny surely has butchered enough, or when you think Sanjay Dutt can’t be doing his maniacal laugh one more time.”
