Amitabh Bachchan tests positive for Covid-19 for the second time

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, 79, has tested positive for Covid. Big B has urged everyone who came in contact with him to get tested immediately.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for Covid-19.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday took to Twitter to announce that he has tested positive for Covid-19. The actor also urged everyone who came in contact with him to get tested for coronavirus.

Amitabh tweeted, “I have just tested CoViD + positive. All those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also.”

It is pertinent to note that this is the second time that Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for Covid-19. Amitabh had previously contracted coronavirus in July 2020 along with son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan.

Amitabh is currently seen on Sony TV’s quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 14. On the film front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, which will hit screens on September 9, 2022. He also has Goodbye, Uunchai and Project K in the pipeline.

Former JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, grandson of former PM H D Deve Gowda, has been assigned clerical duties at Parappana Agrahara Central Prison after receiving a life sentence for rape. He earns Rs 520 per day and faces multiple charges stemming from four cases, with evidence including videos of the assaults recorded on his phone. He was found guilty in one case and still faces trial in the others.
