Amitabh Bachchan got nostalgic on Thursday as he shared a rare photo from his childhood. On the occasion of World Scout Scarf Day on 1 August, the actor revealed he was part of the Scout Troop in his school–Boys’ High School, Allahabad. Big B shared a photo from his school magazine. In the photo, he along with his batchmates can be seen posing in the Scout uniform. The text on the magazine read, “The Winner Of Inter Troop Challenge Shield–Allahabad District (1954).”
The actor’s fans were quite excited to see the old picture, others from the same school expressed joy and pride in passing out from the same institution as Mr Bachchan.
In his blog, Amitabh Bachchan shared more details about his Scout days. Sharing more photos, he wrote, “Oh Gosh those were the days at BHS, Allahabad… and the scouting experiences with the troop and the visitor of the head of the Scouts from Australia and how he remembered the number of autographs he signed.” He called the experience “quite remarkable”.
Big B then said that the pictures he has are rather grim and he finds it difficult to recognise himself.
Claiming that he remembers most of his fellow Scouts, the actor wrote, “Strange is it not how you remember those early days and have problems remembering the recent meets.”
Amitabh Bachchan also shared glimpses from his Kaun Banega Crorepati shoot in the blog.
