Amitabh then reposted the trailer of Abhishek’s next film, Remo D’Souza’s relationship drama Be Happy, on his X handle and wrote, “Abhishek you are extraordinary – How you adapt and change with each film character is an art, which is incredible… love you Bhaiyu.” Be Happy revolves around a father-daughter relationship, in which Abhishek will reunite with his Ludo co-star Inayat Verma. In his last release, which was also based on a father-daughter relationship, Abhishek played a real-life Bengali terminally ill patient Arjun Das in Shoojit Sircar’s I Want To Talk, released last year. The film failed to attract audiences to theatres. In his next, Abhishek will return to the Housefull franchise with the fifth instalment of the ensemble comedy franchise.

In a recent interview with SCREEN, Abhishek had spoken about his father’s praise for him, “It is wonderful. But at times you feel it’s a bit excessive, it’s embarrassing and I told him that once, ‘Hey, can you just back of a bit? Take your foot off the accelerator!’ But we forget, he is also a father. I am a father today and I know the raw emotion that comes with a child. You can’t blame him.”
