Ameesha Patel says her most expensive luxury bag costs Rs 70 lakh: ‘You can buy a house in place of this bag’
Ameesha Patel showed off her luxury bag collection and shared that the most expensive bag she owns is currently priced at Rs 70 lakh.

Ameesha Patel, who is currently basking in the success of Gadar 2, loves her luxury bags and she has been collecting those since she was 12 years old. In a recent interview, the actor showed a small part of her collection which also included her most expensive bag and shared that one could buy a house in its place. Ameesha shared that her rare Birkin bag is currently priced at Rs 60-70 lakh, and she has 16 Birkin bags in her collection.
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Ameesha said that this was the “Rolls-Royce of bags” and one has to be on a waitlist for years to get a chance to buy a Birkin. “You can buy a house in place of this bag,” she said as she showed her croc-skin Birkin.
Showing off her other bags, she said that this was “just a drop in the ocean” as she has many more bags that she did not include in this video. She shared that her first luxury bag was a school bag that she got when she was 12-13 years old and it was a Moschino-Louis Vuitton bag. She also shared that her first Chanel bag was bought at the age of 16 and it was a birthday present.

Ameesha then showed her Goyard bag, which is another luxury bag, and said that her staff at home called it a “sabzi ka thaila” as soon as they saw it. Ameesha laughed and said that she agreed with them as there isn’t much to this bag but she got hers customised, which took around 2-3 months.
Ameesha Patel made her debut in the movies with the 2000 film Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai and soon after that, had another hit with Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. In the last few years, Ameesha hasn’t appeared in many films but was recently seen in Anil Sharma’s Gadar 2 which has made over Rs 500 crore at the domestic box office.
