Alia Bhatt makes up stories about Ranbir Kapoor, Shaheen Bhatt to keep Raha entertained: ‘I’m becoming very creative’

Despite her busy schedule as an actor and entrepreneur, Alia Bhatt always makes time to enjoy quality moments with her daughter Raha, embracing every aspect of motherhood. While she often shares heartwarming stories of her time with Raha, along with the lessons she’s un/learned about parenting, the first-time mother recently shared that she’s now in a stage where she frequently cooks up new stories to keep her little one entertained.

In the latest episode of her chat show Spill The Beans, hosted for her sustainable clothing brand Ed-a-Mamma, the National Award-winning actor sat down with a group of mothers like her to discuss various facets of parenting. During the conversation, Alia revealed that, to Raha’s delight, she even creates stories featuring her husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor. “I am in that phase right now where I make stories up for Raha. Suddenly, she’ll be like ‘Mumma, tell me papa’s story.’ Then I’ll make up a story about Ranbir. Then she’ll be like, ‘tell me Tanna’s story’ — she calls my sister (Shaheen Bhatt) Tanna.”

The Jigra actor added, “I am literally making stories up and I’m becoming very creative. I’m also saying random, very magical things and stuff like that and then she immediately moves on, in two lines, to another story. It feels quite special to even be a storyteller for your child.”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot on April 14, 2022, and welcomed baby Raha on November 6 that year. She will turn two next Wednesday.

On the professional front, Alia was recently seen in director Vasan Bala’s action thriller Jigra. Next, she’ll join the YRF spy universe, playing the lead role in Alpha, a film also starring Sharvari Wagh and directed by Shiv Rawail, known for the Netflix series The Railway Men.
