In the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 8, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn and filmmaker Rohit Shetty shared insights into their lives, including discussions on family and the challenges of fame.

Addressing the constant scrutiny faced by his daughter Nysa Devgn on social media and how she is being constantly followed by paparazzi, Ajay Devgn expressed his displeasure, stating, “Of course she doesn’t like it, I don’t like it, but you can’t change it, so you live with it. A few people talking rubbish about you does not mean that the whole world thinks the same about you.” Rohit Shetty added, “Everybody is getting trolled.” Ajay emphasized the dual nature of social media, saying, “Otherwise, social media doesn’t work. You write good things about people, but nobody is interested in reading it.”

Karan Johar, the host, touched upon the nepotism debate, to which Ajay responded, “Yes, even when she (Nysa) is not working. Right now, she doesn’t want to be in the film industry. But tomorrow if something changes, they will bring this interview up and play it.”

Shifting the focus to Rohit Shetty’s family, the conversation turned to his son, Ishaan, and his aspirations to join the film industry. Rohit humorously shared his plan, stating, “He wants to be in films. He has to go through the whole process. I am going to take the car from him; he has to go through that struggle and then reach my office. He has to work.”

When asked about his family maintaining a low profile, Rohit Shetty said, “Good things should be kept hidden from the world. That’s the way we have been. I have never thrown a party in my life and I rarely go to parties.” Ajay Devgn added a perspective rooted in their middle-class upbringing, stating, “When we come from very humble backgrounds, the family values remain the same. We still today are middle class. Our beliefs are middle class.”
