Abhishek Bachchan got ’emotional’ thinking about his daughter Aaradhya while shooting I Want To Talk, says Shoojit Sircar

When asked if they ever got emotional on set, Shoojit Sircar immediately said, “A lot.” “Because he is also a father. There are many scenes where he was very emotional. I have daughters and he also has a daughter. It will reflect in his work. When he sees that he is playing a father, and he is a father in real life too, he has a daughter at home, there will be some co-existence. He would relate. I know, sometimes, he would not tell me, but I know he was affected by it,” Shoojit shared.

I Want To Talk is Abhishek Bachchan’s first collaboration with Shoojit Sircar. The director is known for making acclaimed films like Sardar Udham, October, Piku, Madras Cafe, among others. While I Want To Talk has received some critical appreciation, the film hasn’t managed to draw in many viewers into theatres. The movie has approximately collected Rs 1.9 crore in its first six days in theatres.
