WB Board HS Uccha Madhyamik Results 2024: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) announced the higher secondary (HS) result 2024 on May 8. The WB Uchcha Madhyamik scorecards is now available at the official website – wbchse.wb.gov.in and at wbresults.nic.in.
The pass percentage is 90%. Schools will provide the original mark sheets and pass certificates from May 10. WBCHSE conducted the class 12 exams from February 16 to 29, which were held in the morning shift, i.e. from 9:45 am to 1 pm, in a pen-paper mode.

Step 3: Enter your credentials such as roll number, date of birth, respective fields, etc.

Step 6: Download the result in pdf form and save it for future reference
In 2023, the pass percentage was recorded at 89.25 per cent. A total of 8,52,444 students had enrolled for the Uchha Madhyamik exam out of which total 8,24,891 students appeared in the exam. Out of this, a total of 7,37,807 students cleared the class 12 exam. The pass percentage recorded among boys was 91.86 per cent, while the same for girls was 87.26 per cent.

Last year, Subhrangsu Sardar from Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya in South 24 Parganas district topped the exam after scoring 496 marks out of 500 marks (99.2 per cent).
In 2022, the West Bengal government had announced the cancellation of class 10 and 12 results due to the rise in Covid-19 cases in the state. A special evaluation criterion was formed to calculate the class 12 results. Of the 8,19,202 candidates who were to appear for class 12 board exams, 97.69 per cent had passed. The pass percentage was 97.70 per cent among both boys and girls. However, in 2023, boys performed better than girls as the pass percentage among boys was 91.86 per cent while the same for girls was 87.26 per cent.
