This year, 4,73,919 students appeared for their WBCHSE Higher Secondary exam; of them, 4,30,286 have passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 90.79%, a slight increase from last year’s 90%.
Candidates will be able to check their results from the official websites by filling in their roll number and password to check the scorecard online.

Visit the official website and select the Class 12 results 2025 option. Once done, students can check their class 12 results 2025 with the help of their login credentials. They are required to type in their roll number, name, mobile number, and email id to access and download the results.
To pass the examination, students must achieve a minimum score of 33 per cent. Those who fail to secure the minimum pass marks, such candidates can reappear for supplementary exams, which will be conducted later by the board. After the official declaration of results, students who are not satisfied with their scores can apply for result scrutiny. It is crucial to note that the original mark sheet will be provided in hard copy from the respective school, and students can collect it a few days after the results are announced.
Last year, the results were announced on May 8. 7,55,324 regular candidates appeared in board examinations in 2024. In the results, East Midnapore topped among all the districts and emerged as the best performing district of the state. The overall pass percentage was 90 per cent for all the streams combined. Abhik Das from Hooghly secured the top position with an outstanding score of 99.2 per cent. In 2023, the West Bengal state board results were announced on May 24. The pass percentage was 89.25%.
