West Bengal NEET UG 2025 Round 1 Seat Allotment result out at wbmcc.nic.in; reporting, round-2 registration next

Candidates who have been allotted seats will have to report to the designated institutes with their original documents, requisite fee, and bond to confirm admission.

The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has released the West Bengal NEET UG 2025 Round 1 seat allotment result today, August 23, on its official website at wbmcc.nic.in. On the WBMCC portal, candidates can find the revised provisional merit list under the ‘Download’ column. Along with the allotment result, the committee has also issued instructions regarding reporting and admission for Round 1 candidates.

Those candidates who are allotted seats will have to report to the designated institutes with their original documents, requisite fee, and bond to confirm admission. For candidates allotted seats in private medical colleges, the admission process will be conducted at different government medical colleges in Kolkata.

WB NEET UG 2025 Round 1 Reporting Schedule

As per the notice, the schedule for Round 1 reporting and admission is as follows:

August 23: 12 noon to 5 pm

August 25 to 26: 10 am to 4 pm (server time)

WB NEET UG 2025 Round 2: Counselling dates

The WBMCC has clarified that the dates for Round 2 counselling remain unchanged. Important dates for registration, result publication are as follows:

Online registration: August 27 to 29

Verification of candidates: August 28 to 30

Seat surrender at allotted college level: August 30 (10 am to 2 pm)

Publication of list and seat matrix: September 1

Choice filling: September 1 to 3

Seat allotment result: September 8

College reporting: September 9 to 11

Earlier this week the WBMCC had put an abrupt pause on the counselling and admission process, two days after publishing the revised provisional merit list. Four days later, the committee republished the revised list with 11,178 eligible candidates for choice filling.

In a separate notice, the WBMCC also clarified that the admission kiosk for Sanaka Institute of Dental Sciences will not be held on its own campus but instead at Dr R Ahmed Dental College and Hospital.
