UP NEET UG 2024: Counselling registration begins on August 20

UP NEET UG 2024 Counselling: The Directorate of Medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow will start the registration for the UP NEET UG 2024 counselling from August 20. The last date for the counselling registration is August 24.

The UP NEET UG 2024 counselling process is for students who want to secure admissions in the MBBS and BDS courses in the government and private medical and dental institutions of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates can apply for the UP NEET UG 2024 counselling on the official website- upneet.gov.in.

Online registration and upload of documents: August 20 to 24

Payment of registration and security money: August 20 to 24

Merit list announcement: August 24

Choice filing: August 24 to August 29

Seat allotment announcement: August 30

Allotment letters and admissions: August 31 to September 5

Candidates have to pay a security deposit of Rs 30,000 for a government seat, Rs 2 lakh for a private medical college and Rs 1 lakh for a private dental college.

Students belonging to reserved categories such as Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) will have to submit caste certificates during registration time in the prescribed format. Apart from that such candidates are also required to submit the caste certificates issued on or after April 1 signed by a competent authority. Students are advised to visit the official website for all the updates on caste certifications.
