UP Board UPMSP 12th Inter Result 2025: 81.15% students pass, Mehak Jaiswal tops Class 12

UPMSP Class 12 board exams 2025 Results declared: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad declared Class 12 results on April 25. Students who appeared for the exams can access the UP Board 12th results on the official websites of UPMSP – upmsp.edu.in and results.digilocker.gov.in.

UP Board Intermediate exam’s pass percentage is 81.15%, Director of Education (Secondary) Mahendra Dev announced at the council’s headquarters. A total of 25,98,560 Inter students appeared for the examination, out of which 21,08,774 students passed. Among them, 10,62,616 were boys, registering a pass percentage of 76.60 per cent, while 10,46,158 were girls, achieving a higher pass percentage of 86.37 per cent.

Mehak Jaiswal of Baccha Ram Yadav Inter College in Babuganj, Allahabad has topped, scoring 97.20%. Dev said 30 class 12 students were among the top 10.

In UPMSP Inter exam, the passing percentage of girls surpassed that of boys by 9.77, Dev said. Of the 13,87,263 boys who appeared for the Intermediate (class 12) examination, 10,62,616 students passed, achieving a pass percentage of 76.60.

Conversely, the 12,11,297 girls who appeared for the same examination demonstrated a much higher success rate. A total of 10,46,158 girls passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 86.37.

Overall, a total of 25,98,560 candidates appeared for the class 12 examination, with the combined pass percentage standing at 81.15.

Dev also informed that the evaluation of the answer sheets for the class 12 examination, conducted at 8,140 centres between February 24 and March 12, was carried out by 56,066 examiners

Students can check their results on the UPMSP official website by navigating to the UP board 12th result on the home page, then logging in using their necessary credentials, such as roll number and application number, mentioned in their admit card.

This year, 25.77 lakh students took the Intermediate examination. UP Board class 12 board examination will be assessed by 50,601 examiners and 5,471 deputy head examiners, covering 1.33 crore answer sheets.

The annual UP board exams were conducted in two shifts, held during morning and evening, respectively. The morning shift exams were held from 8.30 am to 11.45 am, while the evening shift exams were held between 2 pm to 5.15 pm.

Last year, the pass percentage was at 82.60 per cent. Shubham Verma topped class 12 board exams with 489/500 marks, scoring 97.80 per cent, followed by Vishu Chaudhary (97.60 %), Kajal Singh (97.60 %), Raj Verma (97.60%), Kashish Maurya (97.60%) Charli Gupta (97.60%), Sujata Pandey (97.60%) Sheetal Verma (97.40%) and Aditya Kumar Yadav (97.40%). 

In 2023, the pass percentage stood at 75.52 per cent with girls securing a pass percentage of 83 per cent, and the pass percentage for boys was 69.34 per cent.

Re-evaluation and supplementary exams

Students who are not satisfied with the results of the UPMSP 12th board examination can apply for re-evaluation of their answer sheets. The UP board class 12th re-evaluation process will begin after the results have been declared. Candidates can fill out the re-evaluation forms once they are released on the official website of UPMSP. 

Candidates who fail to clear the class 12 board examination need to appear in the supplementary examination. The results of the supplementary examination will be released separately.
