UP Board Exam 2025 Begins: More than 54.37 lakh students appeared for the Uttar Pradesh Board examinations for classes 10 and 12, starting February 24. The board examinations will be conducted between February 24 and March 12, with a total of 5,437,233 students participating.

The exams will be held in two shifts, the first from 8.30 am to 11:45 am, the second between 2 pm and 5.15 pm.

Of these students, over 27.32 lakh candidates will be appearing for the class 10 board examinations, while over 27.05 lakh will take the class 12 board examinations. A total of 8,140 examination centres have been established by the Board for this annual exam.

Additionally, a state-level control room has been set up to monitor the examinations, equipped with 54 computers. This control room was inaugurated on Friday by Gulab Devi, the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Secondary Education, in Lucknow. Monitoring will be conducted at both the district and school levels.

The statement emphasized that strict action will be taken against students who use unfair means, as well as against those who assist in such practices.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday extended wishes to students appearing in the board examination of High School and Intermediate and advised them to treat the exams as a natural part of daily routine.

Taking to X, CM Yogi said that the student should participate in the exams with full confidence, patience and full potential.

All of you should participate in this festival of examination with full confidence, patience and full potential. Try your best to treat the exam as a natural part of your daily routine. May the blessings of Maa Saraswati be upon all of you. May you all be successful; many good wishes for this!” CM Yogi wrote on X.

Meanwhile, due to Maha Kumbh, the UP government decided to postpone the board exams in Prayagraj set to be held on February 24. The dates will be released later by the administration.
