The exam serves to assess eligibility for assistant professor positions, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and admissions to the PhD programme.UGC NET June Result 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on October 17 released the results of the University Grants Commission- National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024 session at its official website. Students who appeared for the examination will have to visit —ugcnet.nta.ac.in to download the scorecard.
Candidates will need their application number and date of birth to access their UGC NET 2024 results. The process will be completed once candidates input the correct security code.

This year, the June session of UGC NET was rescheduled and conducted on August 21 to September 4, after the June 18 exam was declared cancelled. This was a result of the investigation which had earlier claimed that the paper was distributed on the darknet on June 16 two days before the test. However, it was later revealed that the exam may not have been leaked.
The result of the UGC NET June 2024 exam will be declared in percentile along with the marks obtained by a candidate to utilise the marks for admission to PhD.
UGC NET is held to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD’ and ‘admission to PhD only’ in Indian universities and colleges.

The record of UGC NET June 2024 will be preserved up to 90 days from the date of declaration of the UGC NET June 2024 result. There will be no re-evaluation or re-checking of the UGC NET June 2024 result. The UGC NET June 2024 result will be compiled based on the final answer key declared.

Along with the ugcnet.nta.ac.in, nta.ac.in and ugcnet.ntaonline.in websites, the DigiLocker app and UMANG app will also make the UGC NET 2024 result scorecard links active.
