The pass percentage this year is 93.80%. The girls scored 95.88 per cent while the boys got is 91.74 per cent.

The Tamil Nadu SSLC 2025 exams were conducted from March 28 to April 15, while the practical exams were held from February 22 to 28. Once declared, students can check their Class 10 board results on the official websites at dge.tn.nic.in, or tnresults.nic.in. To access the result, students must enter their roll number and date of birth as mentioned on their SSLC admit card.

Marksheet Collection and Supplementary Exams

The online marksheet will display subject-wise scores and qualifying status. However, the original mark sheets will be distributed by schools a few days after the results are declared.

Students who fail in one or more subjects or wish to improve their scores will be allowed to appear in the supplementary exams. Detailed information regarding the TN SSLC supplementary exam schedule and application process will be released post result declaration.

Last year, the Tamil Nadu SSLC results were announced on May 10. A total of 8,94,264 students appeared for the exam, and the overall pass percentage stood at 91.55%, marking a slight increase from 91.39% in 2023.

Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 94.53%, boys recorded a pass rate of 88.58%.

The TN Board does not announce merit lists or toppers for SSLC exams, a decision taken in 2018 to discourage unhealthy competition and reduce academic stress among students.
