(Express photo by Gurmeet Singh/ representative)The Directorate of Government Examinations, Telangana, has announced a revised schedule for payment of examination fees for SSC, OSSC and Vocational Public Examinations to be held in March 2026. The updated dates apply to both regular and once-failed candidates submitting fees online through the Cyber Treasury.
According to the notification, Telangana board candidates can pay the exam fee without a late fee until November 21, 2025, with headmaster verification allowed up to November 22, and last date for submission of NRs and fee challans to the DEO office set for November 23.
A late-fee structure has also been notified. Candidates paying with a late fee of Rs 50 can submit fees from November 22 to November 27, while schools must send records to the DEO by November 29. For those paying with a late fee of Rs 200, the payment window is from November 28 to December 4, with submission to the DEO scheduled for December 6. Payments with a late fee of Rs 500 are allowed from December 5 to December 12, and documents must be submitted by December 16.

The department clarified that the fee structure includes charges for marks memo, certificates, and online services. Schools have been instructed not to entertain offline payments and to complete all transactions exclusively through Cyber Treasury. Headmasters are required to verify candidate details, photographs and signatures before confirming submissions.
The notification also states that principals of private unaided schools must remit the consolidated fee through their management without collecting additional service charges. Hall tickets will be issued only after this verification process.
The Directorate has advised schools to follow the timelines strictly, noting that late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances. The full schedule has been circulated to district education offices for immediate compliance.
Meanwhile, the Board of Secondary Education, Telangana (BSE Telangana) is expected to release the TS SSC 2026 exam timetable soon on its official website at bse.telangana.gov.in. The schedule will include subject-wise exam dates, timings, and other key instructions for Class 10 students.
In the 2025 academic year, the TS SSC exams began on March 21, 2025, and concluded on April 4, 2025. The examination spanned 15 days, with papers held in a single shift across the state.
