Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2023: The Directorate of Government Exams, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) has announced the Plus Two exams 2023 results. Students can check the result at the official website – dge.tn.gov.in, tnresults.nic.in.
This year, 7,55,451 students cleared the Plus 2 exams, of which 4,05,753 are girls and 3,49,697 are boys. The overall pass percentage this year has been recorded at 94.03 per cent. Girls have outperformed boys by scoring 96.38 per cent as the overall pass percentage, as compared to 91.45 per cent of boys.
Virudhu Nagarpass has emerged as the best performing district with 97.85 per cent, followed by Tirupur at 97.79 per cent, Ariyalur at 97.59 per cent, Coimbtore at 97.57 per cent and Tuticorin at 97.36 per cent.
Students can check the result at the official website – tnresults.nic.in. Students who appeared for the exams can check their result by entering their roll number or registration number, email id and his or her name. The result will be displayed on the screen. Students are advised to download and save the result for future use.
This year, the class 12 exams were held from March 13 till April 3 and were conducted between 10:15 am and 1:15 pm. Around 8.51 lakh students had registered for the HSE exams.
This year, one transgender student from Namakkal district registered and appeared for TN Plus two exams and cleared the exams.
In 2022, around 7 lakh students had appeared for Class 12 exams and the results were declared on June 21. The exams were conducted between May 5 and May 28 and the overall pass percentage was 93.76 per cent. The year before, in 2021, class 12 exams could not be conducted due to Covid-19 and the students were evaluated on the basis of a different method. The result was declared on July 19.
