SSC issues guidelines for correct photograph and signature uploads to prevent application rejection. (Express Photo/Representational Image)The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on August 15 released an advisory for the candidates on the correct procedure for uploading photographs and signatures when applying for various posts. The Commission has released the guidelines to help reduce application rejections caused by common mistakes.
Candidates can check the guidelines with respect to uploading photos and signatures while applying for different vacancies at ssc.gov.in. The SSC notice includes examples of both correct and incorrect signature submissions to guide applicants.
The SSC notice outlines several reasons why photographs may be rejected, including the presence of a non-plain background, wearing caps in the photo, taking the photo without a shirt, insufficient brightness, and blurred images. Candidates are advised to carefully follow these guidelines to avoid issues during the application process.
The major reasons for rejection of signatures are ‘miniature’ signatures, SSC said. Candidates are advised to cut the box given in the notice and then sign within the box such that signature occupies at least 80 per cent of the box.
