The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited eligible candidates to apply for the positions of junior engineer in their latest recruitment notification. The Commission will conduct a written examination on December 8, 9 and 12, 2016 to fill up positions in various ministries.
The last date for submission of online application (part-I) is October 28 while for (part-II), it is October 31.
The candidates will be selected on the basis of a computer-based written exam and skill test.

Pay scale: The salary of junior engineer will be Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800, along with a grade pay of Rs 4,200.
Educational qualification:
The candidate should have a degree/ diploma in civil/electrical/mechanical engineering from a recognised university or institute.
Age limit As on August 1, 2016, the age limit per candidate is 30-32 years (depending upon the post and ministry).
