School Holiday: Schools in these states closed on January 28, check list

The Telangana government has categorised Shab-e-Meraj under optional school holidays. Meanwhile, in Jammu and Kashmir, the holiday for Shab-e-Meraj was shifted from January 27 to January 28. The decision was taken after a request from the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board to celebrate the day on January 28.
Not only these states, but Dehradun has also announced school closures due to the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the opening ceremony of the 38th National Games.

The district magistrate of Dehradun has declared a holiday in schools today in a notification dated January 27.
Meanwhile, in the month of February, many schools might close the schools on February 2 due to Basant Panchami and other important days like Guru Ravi Das’s Birthday, and Maha Shivratri.
