Punjab School Education Board has announced the result of Punjab State Teacher Eligibility test. An official spokesman of the education department said on Wednesday that only 12 per cent candidates had passed TET-1 while 3 per cent had cleared TET-2.
Meanwhile, Punjab Education Minister Dr Daljit Singh Cheema congratulated Punjab School Education Board for smooth conduction of the test.
The spokesman said that 36,974 ETT-pass candidates appeared for TET-1 in which only 4,442 have managed to pass the exams. The pass percentage of TET-1 was 12.01 per cent and TET-2, which was conducted for B Ed pass candidates, was 3.36 per cent. Of the 1.29 lakh B Ed-pass candidates allowed to appear for TET-2, only 4,351 got through.
Both exams were conducted on December 13, 2015. The education board has also put answers on the website and sought objections from the candidates.
