PSEB Punjab Board 8th 12th Result 2024: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) on April 30 announced the class 8 and 12 results 2024. The scorecards will be available at the official website - pseb.ac.in. While the results are declared in a press conference at the Mohali headquarters on April 30 at 4 pm, the scorecards were released on May 1. This year, a total of 2,84,452 students appeared in the PSEB Class 12 exam out of which 2,64,662 passed. Of them, 2981 students failed in the exam which is 1.04 per cent of the total students who appeared. To receive the Punjab Board original mark sheets, students are requested to visit their respective schools a few days after the result declaration. To check the PSEB 2024 class 12 and 8 result online, students are required to have their necessary login credentials such as roll number, mobile number, stream and e-mail id. PSEB Class 12 students score a pass percentage of 93.04%. The top positions were secured by Ekampreet Singh and Ravi Uday Singh, both scoring 100%. Ashwini from Bathinda scored 99.8%. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 95.74% compared to 90.74%. This time, the Class 8 Board Exam 2024 were successfully conducted from March 7 to March 27 in offline mode starting with Social Science on March 7 and ending with elective or vocational subjects on March 27, 2024. Punjab Class 8 examinations was conducted between 11 pm to 2:15 pm. Last year, the result of the Punjab Board exam was released on March 21, at 2:30 pm. The Punjab Board held the exams for class 12 from February 13 to March 30, 2024 in a pen-paper mode. As per the declared data, last year, a total of 2,96,709 students appeared for the Punjab board examination of which 2,74,378 passed recording a passing percentage of 92.47 per cent, where the girls have achieved better scoring passing percentage of 95.14 per cent while boys got 90.25 per cent. In Class 8 results of 2023, Lovepreet Kaur from Government Girls' Sr Secondary school at Budhlada in Mansa district topped the examination with a cent percent. This year girls secured the top three positions. This year around three lakh students have registered for the board exam. The overall pass percentage stood at 98.01 per cent.
