JEE Main 2023 Session 2: NTA likely to release exam city intimation slip, admit card soon

JEE Main Intimation Slip Session 2: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 session 2 city intimation slip a week before the exam begins on April 6, an NTA official told indianexpress.com.

According to the information provided by NTA, the advance city intimation slip should be released by March end. “However, the final date has not been decided yet,” the source added.

Once released, the city intimation slip and the admit cards will be available at the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.

According to the official schedule, the JEE Main session 2 exams are scheduled to begin on April 6. After that, the exams are to be conducted on April 8, 10, 11 and 12.

In Session 1 exams, the admit cards were released on January 21, when the exams were scheduled to begin on January 24. This time, too, the NTA is planning to release the admit cards 2-3 days in advance, i.e. around April 3 or 4. In the January session, the results for JEE Main Session 1 were declared in less than a week. As the session 1 exams ended on February 1, the results were declared by NTA on February 7.

The January session was conducted at 574 centres across the country, and over 8.6 lakh candidates registered for Paper 1 (BE/BTech), while over 46,000 registered for Paper 2 (BArch). Out of the total registration of 9,06,523 candidates, girls comprise 30.7 per cent. Of the total of 8,60,058 aspirants for Paper 1 (BE/BTech programmes), 8,23,850 took the computer-based exam.
