Premal Goragandhi, a filmmaker, builder and one of the organisers of the event told The Indian Express, “Fiat was one such car which nearly every family has owned. Everyone has fond memories of Fiat, which makes them nostalgic. The event was a huge success as our registrations nearly doubled this year.” While the fleet of participants was initially proposed to drive along Marine Drive to reassemble back to the pier, the route of the event was realigned owing to the traffic restrictions announced in light of football icon Lionel Messi’s visit at Wankhede stadium.
