JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on October 25 updated the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 website with the latest information. Students who wish to check information related to JEE Main 2025 can check the old JEE website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. Last year, NTA had shifted from the old JEE website - jeemain.nta.nic.in - to a new JEE Main website - jeemain.nta.ac.in. However, the agency has once again shifted to the old JEE website - jeemain.nta.nic.in - this year. The reason behind the change of website last year was development of a new NTA platform. “Till now, NIC (National Informatics Centre) used to host the online application forms of the JEE Main. Now NTA has developed this new platform and is in the process of using its own server for activities related to hosting the online application forms, and generating the city intimation slip, admit card, and score card, etc,” a senior NTA official had told indianexpress.com. Last year's website also had an automated chat feature that served as an online assistant for aspirants. Students could find this online chat option at the bottom right corner. However, the reason behind the recent change in JEE Main 2025 website is still unknown. The website seeks to offer easy navigation to dedicated pages for each exam, ensuring a streamlined experience for all test-takers. This year, the NTA has also announced that optional questions in JEE Main section B, introduced as a temporary measure during the Covid-19 pandemic, will be discontinued for the 2025 exam. This decision has sparked varied reactions from students, educators and coaching institutes across India, with many expressing concern over its potential impact on preparation strategies.
